Thomas Schumacher, Producer and President of Disney Theatrical Productions, said in a statement. “… what a gift it is to have this glorious album to act as an ambassador for the title as it enters this new chapter.”The Hunchback with its emotionally rich score and book by Peter Parnell tells the story of Quasimodo a deformed hunchback of Notre Dame. The bell-ringer at the cathedral encounters Esmerelda a gypsy that changes him for the better. Along the way the two encounter obstacles that make Quasimodo realize everyone has something that makes them an outcast either because of their looks or something else.
